Discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the opinion stated above. Support your views with reasons
and/or examples from your own experience, observations, or reading.
The question whether or not companies are justified in employing young children is of course a complicated question and therefore also has multiple views, however, my statement evolves why it is not justified to employ young children, even though this would benefit the parents. Therefore I support the statement.
In my point of view it is not healthy for children to work. Mostly the circumstances under which these children have to work are not optimal and can be dangerous for the future development of the children. Child labor is currently still seen in Africa and in Eastern Asia, even though it is illegal, it is seen as a cheap solution for companies to fill in employment. With a possibility to further reduce costs it also occurs that the working circumstances can be dangerous for the health of the children. Next to that they are mostly used to do the dirty work, e.g. fixing machines as they are able to do so with their small hands.
Another point of view is that children should not work, but follow education. It is important that all the children over the world have the same opportunity to follow education. It is important for them to get out of the vicious circle that they are living in, as child labor is only left in third world countries. This means that the parents do not have a lot of money and they probably also never went to school themselves. However, if the children now also do not go to school this circle will continue and there is no option to break this circle. Mostly the children work hard and they continue working hard, however they do not have a long live in front of them.
As is explicitly written in the statement, there are also points of view that do support child labor. The companies benefit of it and the parents benefit of it, because it is cheaper for the companies to employ children in comparison to grownups and the parents get extra money. It is true that it is cheaper for companies, however it has to do with social corporate responsibility to not put children to work. It is illegal and for sure known that the CEO of a multinational also would not want his son or daughter under 15 working, especially not under bad circumstances. For the family it is an opportunity when the child goes to school, perhaps it is hard in the short term, however there are more years that follow after the age of 15 than the years before that age. The child is most probably in a better condition and has more advantage of a study.
To conclude, in my opinion companies are never justified in employing young children. Besides the illegal practice and the beneficial terms for the parents it is not good for the development of the children, school wise and health wise. They need a proper education and they need the ability to break out of this vicious circle.
I second hussain15's view. It is good, but following the template would have made this essay much better. And please look to make your sentences shorter. That way, you can elliminate grammatical errors.
