Question:
The widespread use of the internet has given people access to information on a level never experienced before. How does this increase in the availability of information influence life in today's world
Use specific reasons and examples to support your opinion

Answer:

In my eyes,I think that the wide access to information to the people allows them to be more knowledgeable and hence increase their earnings. The main reason why I think so is because they can find information on whatever field the people work on, giving them more knowledge and making those people more desirable by their employers, because of this there is a higher chance of job promotion and thus an increase in salary. Although not all people will agree, saying that spending time on the internet trying to find information is not that positive an affect because there is a high chance of people wasting time trying to find information on the internet. By wasting time on the internet these people have less time to work and hence there is a chance of loss of pay. On one hand there may be a chance of loss of pay but on the other hand there is a higher chance of finding information with minimal loss of time.

First I believe that finding information on the internet will not only benifit the people already working in jobs, it also benifits people looking for jobs. To get a job you need to be very knowledgeable about the field you are interested in. Also most exams that help you find careers ask about current issues such as sports, politics etc. You can research these current issues on the internet\
For example if you were to go to a job interview and the interviewer asks you about questions relating to the job and you fail to anwer you dont have a chance of getting that job.

Second, in my view the internet gives us the chance to set up internet businesses and also learn extra skills. Hence there is a chance of people earning extra money on the side.
For instance I can go to youtube and learn how to cook by watching cooking videos. If I get very good at cooking I can set up a website that showcases my cooking skills and maybe even set up a food catering business. This will allow me to earn extra money the side while working in a full time job.

In conclusion, there are many advantages of the widespread access to the information on the internet not only due to the above reason but also due to various other reasons as well.
