Hi Amogh - thanks for writing! Your GMAT score is solid and Infosys is a great company. Regarding schools that would be suitable targets given your current profile: I'd aim for U.S. schools outside of the Top 20, and international programs to consider are Oxford Said and Cambridge Judge as well as MBA programs in Canada such as Rotman and Ivey. A few challenges that might make higher-ranked schools tough: 1. applying from a very competitive demographic 2. having gone to a tier 2 school and 3. having been in purely technical roles without international experience. To strengthen your profile further, I'd consider taking the GMAT again to score 750+ since Admissions Committees have such high score standards for Indian applicants 2. resuming your active involvement in the community you had back in college 3. Within Infosys, gaining experience in non-technical projects, international experience, and leadership/mentorship.
Hope that helps a bit - best of luck!

Hi,
I am from India and am working with Infosys Limited for the past 3.5 years in purely technical roles.
I appeared for GMAT last year and scored 740(V39,Q50).
I am a Mechanical Engineer with 7.84/10 CGPA from a tier 2 university and was a member of organizing committees for multiple events including a national level sports fest.
For a couple of years I was also a volunteer for a local NGO in my university region that looked after the needs of orphan children.
During the 3+ years of work experience, I have only worked on implementation projects and in 3 different roles - back end developer, integration developer and front end developer. I have worked with clients from Manufacturing, Consulting and Utilities sectors.
I was selected to be a part of the coveted Self Governance Team(SGT) during the training period at Infosys (10 selected out of 450). The SGT was basically a bridge between the management and the trainees.
I also received insta-award for my work efforts during the first quarter of the last financial year.
My post MBA goal is to get into consulting, specifically strategy and tech consulting.
I recently completed a virtual strategy internship by BCG to gain some insight into the industry. I am also looking to complete a tech consulting internship to get acquainted in that front as well.
I have started learning Spanish a couple of months back and hopefully would have a good grasp on the language by the time sessions start next year.
Please suggest 7-8 colleges that I can apply to in the US and Europe. I am also thinking of applying to NUS.
Also, what can I do from this point onwards to improve my profile a bit for the admissions teams?
Thanks,
Amogh
