Hi,
I gave my gmat yesterday and score 740 (50,39). I'm looking forward to do my mba in fall 2013 from a good US unviersity.
Can some one pls advice on how should I go about doing it. I have absolutely no idea.
How to research for the schools?
How/When to start applying?
How to get my profile evaluated. Do i need to hire an consultant?
Thanks in advance

Bhupesh,
Congratulations on a great GMAT score.
However your query is high level. For a broad response:
b-school selection- first and foremost, get understanding of what your expectations from the MBA education are. How is it going to help your career goals? Are you seeking any specializations that will help you in your career track? All of these questions are relevant at this stage because you would want to attend a b-school that will facilitate your career aspirations (through academics, social events, clubs, projects, career services etc.)
how to apply: read through the admissions pages of b-school websites. Typically you would be required to register online - then the online form is yours to fill!
Hire a consulant: this is a personal decision. On the admissions consultant thread, you are likely to hear biased opinion (including my own). Whichever way you choose, you should be working equally hard.
