Congrats, see you in the fall!

On a side note, have any of the other admitted students tried accessing the admitted students website? I'm getting a Not Authorized error even though the last status update I got said to log into the page for periodic updates.

I reached tech support few weeks ago we said that the site is not ready yet. When it is ready we all will get notifications. Any idea when we get a package from the school with all forms included?

I'd be interested to hear about dinged with interview situations/timeline as well...If there's a 50% conversion rate of interviews into acceptances, I find it hard to believe the other 50% all had poor interviews

So the timeline for a response is similar - good to know. How did you profile change between last year and this year?

For the most part, went from being a consultant like any other at a large strategy house to a boutique firm where I was running my account and making my own sales.

Today is just a bad day for me...

I was interviewed but my fiance is dinged without interview...so our hope of going to CBS together diminished...it feels as bad as I was dinged

Some advice (application preparation aside) for those of you who have not yet finished you application or who have not yet received a decision:

If you can, make a very pronounced effort to visit campus! I attended an MBA information session and the Real Estate Spotlight event. I'm not sure if everyone's aware of this, but the Admissions Office maintains an open-door environment, even on weekends. I stopped in on a Saturday with my story and some pointed questions ready, and I ended up having a very relaxed but very productive 20-minute conversation with one of the primary adcoms. I gambled on this, but I knew that if the meeting went well it would pay dividends. Sure enough, during my phone call Amanda told me that this informal meeting really made an impression with the adcom member I spoke to. She mentioned some other details (date of my wedding, etc.) that made it clear that the adcom had taken notes as soon as I left the Admissions Office that day (I exchanged business cards when I left).

To those of you still waiting: keep hope alive! I'll be happy to give more advice or answer more questions!

Congrats and Thanks for the advice! I was debating applying or visiting 3 weeks from now and then applying. I might hang back and visit first and then apply thereafter.

I submitted my ED application on 3rd October but haven't heard from the adcom yet. Feeling very anxious. Is anyone else on the same boat as me?

I'd say try to get to know the school more by talking to alumni or current students, and mention this in the essays and interview. In fact, CBS online form asks whether we know any current student or not, and if so, we need to specify their names.

More importantly, as long as your essays have communicated clearly how CBS would help you reach your goals, that's all you can do.

For those admitted - after the call, how long until you received a status update on the online application?
