Hey Archit
How have you been? When are you taking your GMAT? TCU is a great college particularly wrt ROI.

Hi getgyan
I am fine......
I will take gmat in April...date not yet taken...but i am planning to take veritas online immersion course for 7 days ...hence want to extend the exam by a month...Do you have any idea of the course.....though it does not guarantees any score improvement as other prep progs...you can pm me on this issue.....i locked between mgmat or veritas....BTw your recommendation of e gmat SC really worked for me , hence want your insight......

Yes, Neeley is really good coll....its ranking is continuously improving on BW week ranking...Moreover small class size...stand up and deliver....etc...I think we will see it in next year's FT ranking.....as it far better than Alberta and few other coll ranked in ft ranking....But, in the midst of all 700 + score ...i think it will be really difficult for me.....

Hi Archit

I did not understand what you want to know here. If you are referring to my PM then I went with 2 dream college (HKUST and Kelley) and 2 safe (Neeley and Mays). If thats what you wanted to know

It is usually suggested to categorize and decide while applying for colleges.

Hi Archit

It is good to know that you are taking your GMAT so early. Try to apply in the first round.
I am not too sure between Veritas and Manhattan but both are excellent. Maybe you can talk to Souvik, he knows about them more than I do.

It is not like every applicant in the Neeley are 700+ and moreover you can get scholarship with good essays and resume. Still a 700 does not hurt

Dude you took me too seriously :) All I am saying is that there is some merchant guy in a big shot position (distant friend family). Do not worry about that..!! Why do you think they take people from the Army then? It is not the stream but the kind of experience you have which matters..!!

Hi gyan

hahahah ya i took seiously , well agree to your point. But indian companies still have conservative way of thinking...Few days back i applied to one of the petroleum mba prog...they declined my application saying that companies only wants b tech guys...... i am not boasting my knowledge..Having worked on supertankers for 4 years, I know how the crude market behaves...which i am 100 % sure a tech guy might no tbe knowing...i mean he wont be able to distinguish sour crude from others and what adv or disadvan it has....

That's why i was bit concerned nothing else.

Hello everyone,
I have applied for the round 3 of Neeleys.... While my GMAT score is not good i think i can match it up with my work ex. Thanks a lot to GetGyan for clearing watever doubts i had regarding the application. I submitted my application on 25th Feb, packed off my bags and headed to Goa 8-)... As soon as i came back the status on the checklist showed incomplete  ... Now this was bad as the deadline date had already passed. I mailed Peggy as well as the mba committee but there was no reply. I assumed they must be busy with the applications. Finally today while going through the VIP page my application status showed Complete.. And man i was relieved :-D .. Now keeping my fingers crossed.. N awaiting the Interview invite( Fingers Crossed)

It is a news for me. Till last year Neeley also required recommendation letter and I am not sure about this year. Anyhow, if it is an option then a good recommendation always helps.

I am totally confused about recommendation letter part. We have to submit it as a part of online application or just the contact information of the evaluators.
