What is meant by Required Fees - $2736 ?

I did not understand its relevance with respect to the tutition fees. :?:

Refer to https://www8.gsb.columbia.edu/financial- ... gust-entry for details on the mandatory fees.

"Mandatory fees include instructional materials fee, document fee, and first-year student orientation fees. International students pay an additional $60 per semester for an ISSO fee".

Just curious...is there any advantage of applying early i.e. in the next 1 month?

Has anyone applied already?

When did you submit?

I did mine on June 2nd and haven't heard back... passed 3 week day mark... I guess the chance of getting invite is getting dimmer...

I submitted my application a week after you did...I am not really sure if the 3 week turnaround is applicable in all cases...

I hope so...:) In theory, we should be notified within the 6 weeks.... I guess I can afford to wait for another three weeks!

This is strange!! They responded in dot 3 weeks last year, irrespective of J term etc. Usually this is less stressed time for them, as they don't receive many applications in June/July compared to Oct onwards.

The ED applications are usually faster than the traditional 3 week turnaround time. They wont look at your applications until EVERYTHING related the application is received by them, including the recommendation letters. So make to check in your application portal as to when did they receive your recommendation letters. CBS starts to spend closer to 3 weeks towards the end of the ED and RD cycles when too many people apply at the same time.
