Hi Everyone,

Did anyone hear back from Cambridge regarding their R2 applications?
I got call from Mr. Conrad and he asked few questions about my applications, mostly related to my career goals.
Is this usually part of the process?

I had a call with him on this Tuesday.
The call lasted only for 10 minutes and he asked for the same information that I provided as part of my application. Not sure whether this is part of the process or only in some cases he does that.

Hi bestyat,

I was emailed 2 days ago informing that they are offering me a place in Cambridge (I applied in R1). If I'm not mistaken, it's taking them a while between the deadline of R1 to sending me the interview invite. Mind you that some people in R1 still interviewing even by the end of October. If R2 is similar to R1, then you should probably expect an invite sometime mid-November or towards the end of month.

I didn't get any call from the dean. So if anyone is freaking out because they haven't get the call from the dean, breath and relax. Even if you don't get a call, it's not an indication that Cambridge ding you. I didn't get the call in my R1 application but I was offered a place here.

Other candidates: the website states they will let us know within 3 weeks before interview deadline (which is 5th dec) so we should know by 14/11 at the latest.

I was checking my inbox. For R1, they invite me to interview on Oct 11 (deadline for the interview is Oct 27), so around 2 weeks before interview days. I think mid-November is a safe bet. You can still receive an invitation by 3rd week of November (judging from R1).

I interviewed on Oct 24.The interviewer (I was interviewed by a professor) said that I should expect 2 weeks before the result, but got the result early on Nov 1.
