i am trying something or the other every single day
How many days are you left with? I had a 580. I prepared again for 7 or 8 weeks and in those I assigned two weeks for each verbal section and 1 week each for quant. I kept the final week for tests only (i bought Veritas test package because there was a sale on that). During the preparation I took a test at the end of every week and used the analysis. All the online tests available on the web (veritas, economist, manhattan etc.) provide an analysis for each test, which was helpful for me to understand where I was stuck. My score was not improving because of verbal so I worked more on verbal. I also adjusted my pace according to the analysis I got. I was spending way too much time on certain questions and very little on others.
The most important change in my approach was that after every question I answered, I kept telling myself that my answer is correct and I am good (It sounds silly but I panic a lot). This helped me going because I missed to click the submit button in AWA (the first computer I sat on at the test center conked off. Even though they compensated the time but the flow was disturbed), missed answering one question in IR and two questions in Quant . It was too much of a pressure and i needed a self pep talk every second.
I scored 650.
I am not sure how my story will help but wanted to share what I went through.
Best of Luck and dont forget to believe in yourself. Most of us are better than we think of ourselves.
Cheers

P.S. I have received admit calls from UBC Sauder, HEC Montreal and Simon Fraser university
