Aaliyah537,

Now that you have the question, you could prepare an answer for that :)

If I were thrown with such a question, I would probably teach him/her about my passion(cue sports). Something like that would work best because that's something I can teach anybody and it could easily be explained in 2 minutes!

Definitely! I realized that i was thinking "professional". I'm making a note to myself that if I'm thrown off there's no reason why I can't talk about something personal. I could teach them how to make bread from scratch!

Wow.. This is awesome!
Lots of applications are getting submitted.
It is possible that Rotman will fill its class by Round 1 itself :o

Based on what I know, majority of international seats in maximum of the colleges around the world gets filled by R1 and R2.

So I guess if you are International plan early.

Hi apandey123,

I submitted my application for Fall 2018 admit yesterday night.

Brief details:
Location: Mumbai
Industry: Finance (Corporate banking)
Role: Portfolio Credit Risk Manager
W.Ex: 6 years (3 Bank, 3 IT) with 1 year in Japan.
GMAT: 720
Others: Decent extra curr, good sports background, some hobbies with decent proof of the same.

Had a word with an adcom member few days back. She advised me to submit my application early to stand a chance of face to face interview in Sept end when she visits India.

As for the applications, the most nervous part was the video essay section. Retook the practice sessions nearly 18 times before I could stop sweating and smile a bit while maintaining a stable flow of thoughts!! :|

Let me know in case any help may be needed.

Goodluck Krazykunal!,

My details:
Location: Bangkok
Industry & role: Finance, Equity Analyst
Exp: 4 yrs (1.5 years in corp fin consulting), worked on projects in Myanmar & Vietnam
GMAT: Use CFA to waive GMAT

That's pretty cool you can have face to face interview this month, so you should hear back soon. The adcom person for my region does not come in the area till November, so I don't expect to hear back from the school for a while.

I was nervous about the video essay too, but luckily the questions were up my alley so I actually had a fun time answering. Now, I am just constantly checking my email, lol.

The agonizing wait begins :P

But lucky you, at least your part is done!
From what I was able to understand, even if you end up getting selected,
the school might release the decision by December 15th only(which is the decision notification date for Round 1)

Kindly clarify sheiquiroga or some one who has been through this process?

Thanks in advance

Hey Gnpth,

One of the fellow applicants has already completed his interview(might have been admitted)
@KPMBA(the other one interviewed by Rotman) left the forum very abruptly.

Left everybody guessing his/her result.
Guess lots of new things are happening at Rotman this year :)
