Dinged w/o Interview at HBS and nothing yet from Kellogg. Really beginning to feel now that I might be joining the zero admit club, 2017. Losing hope.
It's nothing yet for most (all?) of us here in India. That should keep your hopes up :D That and the kickass 770!
Not sure if it is a good idea, but do you want to start a thread for desis trying in 2017 for 2018-20? We face a unique set of challenges so maybe swapping notes will help? Like a support group?
Kellogg's Global Hub is a spacious airy collaboration inducing construction. Diagonally from the reception, at the other end of the atrium is the Admissions office. Admissions has a TV screen in its waiting area. When the screen displays the Class Profile, the average GMAT of 732 is visible from across the atrium right at the reception. We desis push that GMAT up like no other group, and still ours is the most difficult of the Admission Groups. I sometimes feel admission counsellors just dislike us for how we are, our temperament and interaction styles. They take in Indians with high GMAT so that they have ceiling to take in 550 GMAT scorers that they like.
