I got an interview invite today; not super high GMAT (700), in U.S., and submitted my app the day it was due.

To those who have already scheduled interviews through the portal - are you still seeing the link to schedule your interview?

I received the confirmation email, but still have the link to 'reschedule'. Not sure if this means the request didn't go through

Same thing happened to me. I emailed the interview team to confirm but haven't gotten a reply yet.

I wouldn't count yourself out just because someone else from your country got an invite. If it is truly random like Booth claims, then you're not out of the running until Saturday. If you were confident when you submitted your application, then continue to be confident now.

Got an email saying it's all set and to ignore the portal's reschedule link.

Just if this make it little easy for everyone: I'm a reapplicant from India and got my interview invite one day before the deadline. So the interview deadline was 27th Jan (Friday) and I received my invite, along with bunch of other folks on 26th (Thursday). Actually the mail came to me after 12 at night so it was 27th. That's when the largest chunk of invites was sent. So I am waiting till tomorrow late night. Of what I know about Booth, that's the last when Booth send invites. If you don't have anything by Friday morning, then probably its not good news, but till then, we all have hope :)

Edit: Referring to Indian Standard Time (IST) in the post.

How important is the required additional short answer/essay if you are invited to an interview? Does anyone know?
