hi, i just received interview invite from cornell. i really want to go to the campus by myself but it's a long journey. it will take around 33 hours flight from my home country.

is it ok to have interview via skype? will it hurt the chances by doing interview via skype?
who will conduct the interview? adcoms / 2nd year / alumni?

Looking at my application status it's currently listed as "under review." I think it's been this way for some time.... Is this what it looks like for others who are waiting for a ding/invite?

Just wanting to check that it shouldn't be marked as "complete" or something. :grin:

I had a similar concern, especially since when I clicked on "view application" it came up showing incomplete and missing my letters of rec.

To make matters worse, I got an email reminding me of the Nov deadline for my application.

I talked to adcom, they said they do have everything submitted and under review for R1 so I'm guessing it's just a mistake. I'm sure yours is in a similar position so keep your head up! I'm trying to stay positive until 11/15 haha.
