The price increased by 34-12 = 22 dollars.

Hence answer is D.

Hi Bunnuel,

I would say that its D. But, is it correct. I mean, the question seems to be pretty straight forward. Thats the reason why I doubt the answer would be D.

X=34-12=$22

We can create the following equation:

12 + X = 34

X = 22

Answer: D
