Received a pm about the video interview, figured I'd post here so it helps everyone.

There are 4 questions, you do get a brief chance to prepare and the opportunity to re-record if you want to.

My questions were standard mba fare, one referring back to your slides on the application, one about msu, and 2 behaviorals I think. It's been a long while now and all these apps blur together, so I'm not positive what the exact details/wording of the questions were.

This was a reply I had received from Paul.

Just got an email saying that MSU will be calling at least one of my references. Hopefully that's a good thing, there are only a four days left before the decision is due.

I think that's a sign that they are finalizing your profile. Had you provided letters of recommendation or just you recommender's contact details?

Both of my references got an e-mail requesting to fill the recommendation form. Not sure whether the adcom will call them even after filling the form!

got an interview invitation a day after submitting for R1 - much sooner than I thought! Does anyone know the time slots listed on the interview scheduler website are of what time zone? thanks!

Michigan is eastern standard time, so I'd say 99% sure it will be that.

Ding and a WL for internationals so far, both with good stats. That rough. I know Paul said international admissions were much more competitive in the info session but I'm surprised by neither of you getting in
