Hello,

I am sure a lot of people have been interviewed by one of the adcom members by now but I see no one posting questions that they were asked. In interest of calming some nerves, here are the kind of questions that I faced:

1. research methodology of looking for MBA and shortlisting Schulich.
2. Top 3 reasons to join Schulich
3. If you had 50,000$ to invest, what would you do with it?
4. Why should the school not admit you.

Have to admit I was expecting more traditional questions like why MBA, why now since I am from non-traditional background (law) but no such profile specific questions.

Best of luck to everyone else!

Hi, Applied in R1 and received admission last night. No information on funding. Did anyone else receive admission or funding confirmation?

Hey guys,

Im applying for the Sept 2018 intake at the moment. My application has been sent and I have completed my interview with Imran as well. I am retaking my GMAT for a better chance to get admitted. Would anyone who has been accepted share their experiences with their scores and what Imran conveyed in regards to their acceptance?

Are you an international student? I am domestic but on the same boat. Applied with low test scores. Still prepping to rewrite. Were your test scores brought up? Did he explicitly ask you to rewrite?

Thanks

Hi, I received admission offer yesterday. Gmat 680, Corporate Banker, 5.5yrs experience, cgpa 3.54. I was interviewed by Imran a week ago and it was pretty basic questions (why mba, why schulich, strength, weakness etc.). We discussed about 2/3 topics and I guess those went well.

I did. Not sure how it went though. Since my interview was telephonic as there was technical issue with skype, can't tell how impressed or disappointed he was. I am pretty sure I handled the why MBA, why Schulich part well. Other than that I can't say.

Haven't received any response yet and other people seem to be getting an admit within a day of interview. So let's see!

Hey don't stress too hard on your scores. I had pretty low scores and **** GPA but ended up scoring an interview. Make sure to attend open house and let the admissions team know that this is the school that will help you achieve your goals. They are looking for the candidate who will fit into the program.
