That is a whole lot of denials! In one way, I am happy that the dings came in fast, so that now I can stop brooding over this and move on. Yale was one of my better applications, though. Is there a process to get feedback on the application? I understand it may not be till July-August when I get a reply.

With all the dings that have gone out in the last few days, what does that mean for those that haven't yet heard either way? I'm curious to know what the logic might be around releasing only some candidates now vs later...

hey a question for those who got rejection letters, were those a hard complete rejection or a "no for now, waitlist without interview"

My guess is that they are yet to make a decision on those applications. So it could result in a late interview invite or a WL without interview. But say positive!

Speaking from my personal experience, I got a hard reject and most of the applicants I know are on the same boat. Hope this helps!

Not sure but my guess is that it's not super promising...

Has anyone who didn't get dinged last week hear anything since?

Supposedly they send invites up until decision day. So if you haven’t heard yet, you are still under consideration.
