Post college: volunteer for New York Cares (1.5 years)

Work exp: 21 months (at the time of matriculation) in merchandise planning for large department store. Analyst level, but most likely will be promoted at least one level by application time. Also, 2 strong internships in college - one for another department store and one for a well known Italian luxury company.
GMAT: have not taken yet, but will not apply with less than 670.
Interested specialization: Luxury Marketing and Product Management
I think my unique experience and specialization will set me apart, but are my stats too weak? I am planning for 2011, so I still have a little time to improve them. Any suggestion are appreciated. Do you think my aim for minimum 670 GMAT is too low?
Any chance for me in Kellogg, Chicago, or other top part-time programs? Also, do I stand any chance in Stern full-time?
Thank you.
I think the top full-time programs, including
Stern, would be stretches for you. If you want to try one or two, OK, but don't count on them and definitely apply to programs where you would be more competitive, which would include
Chicago and
Kellogg's PT programs.
If you would consider a European program, you might want to look at HEC. It is very well-regarded in marketing (particularly in Europe) and I believe has a lot of resources in luxury goods marketing. Please see
