Hi,
I will be applying for my MBA for Fall 2017. I would greatly appreciate if you could please comment on my profile and give me some insights.
Age-27, Indian Male
GMAT:720 [Verbal-38, Quant-50 ,IR-7, AWA-5.5]
Academics: Canadian Engineering School B.Tech - CGPA- 3.2/4
Awards: Entrance scholarships/bursaries
Work Ex:[Aug 2012- present]
Working with Linkedin.
Some highlights:
1.Been promoted twice
2. Working as a senior software engineer and product owner
3. Overseeing new product launches and alignment of resources
I have interned at some familiar companies - IBM, Microsoft
Aug 2014 - Present
Co-foounded an wearable application development company.
Overseen the launch of over 25+ additional applicatinos
Have garnered over half a million donwloads and apps have climbed to top 10 for Android Wear.
Extra Curricular:
- Avid public speaker
- Have started my own toast masters club / competed in public speaking competitions
- Volunteered abroad to help save offshore reefs in Belize
- Grew up in diplomatic household - so have lived in quite a few countries.
Career Goals:
Intent to go for entrepreneurship program
Shortlisted universities:
INSEAD, LBS, Columbia, Booth, Rotman
My questions are:
How realistic are my target schools?
Can i expect scholarship from any of them. If not then which colleges should i apply to(i am banking upon scholarships for MBA abroad)?
What areas do i need to work upon to increase my candidacy?
