Hi
abhishek110694,
Thank you for your post. We do not recommend you apply this year, as there are few available seats in round 4. Instead, target R1 of 2019-2020 application season. While it is understandable that CFA exams are difficult and require a lot of hard work to pass, it is not advisable to quit your job to study for it, or to study for the GMAT, or to apply to a MIM program. Typical applicants manage these requirements while employed. We do recommend finding employment as soon as possible for two reasons (i) gap in employment is not attractive for any reason when applying to b-school, and (ii) admission is not guaranteed, and having a prolonged gap in employment only makes the job-hunt more challenging for employers to hire you and b-schools to admit you.
Furthermore, top MiM programs are competitive. Because you belong to an overrepresented pool of applicants, we recommend you retake the GMAT and try and add another 20 - 30 points to your overall GMAT score. Additionally, target a wide range of schools - it better to have multiple options than none. We hope this helps.
Good luck!

Good Morning Everyone!
Greetings from India!
I had a query regarding my profile for MiM courses. I have completed my undergrad in Mathematics and Computing Engineering from Delhi Technological University(GPA:8.02) and post that I have worked with PwC(PriceWaterHouseCoopers) for about 17 months as a Technology Consultant. I have a GMAT score of 680(Q:48, V:34). I am also currently pursuing CFA level 1(June). I have left my job in Jan to pursue preparation for CFA. Can I apply for Mim courses this fall or is it too late to apply and I should focus on next fall?(Most courses have round 4 deadlines left)
What do you guys think? Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thanks a lot!
Regards
Abhishek Aggarwal
