Regarding scholarships, there is no school that gives out more money than other places, but there are two ways to increase your chances of getting scholarships.

1. Apply to LOTS of schools.. I mean like 8, 10 here
2. Apply to schools that are a bit weaker than where you can normally get in... so if you are top 10 material, by applying to some top 20 schools, they are the ones that will be more likely to offer you money.

Hope this helps

Hi Jon,

Thanks for such a prompt reply.

I will do further research on the b-schools in the US.

However, I request you to kindly assist me with one query, asked in the previous post:

"I want to go for management consulting post my MBA, will Canada be a preferred destination"

Thanks in advance.

Well, Canada makes sense only if you prefer to work in Canada. And yes, there are good programs. But otherwise, if you don't know for sure that you want to work in Canada, there is no advantage, and in fact the majority of Top US programs are considered more prestigious than Top Canadian programs.
