Hi there,

Please give me advice over my profile:

Age: 26
Work ex: 3.2 years in IT company
GMAT score: 650(Q 50, V 28)

Targeting: NUS, NTU, ISB, Melbourne business school, HEC Paris, INSEAD
For MIS programs : CMU, MIT

About academics:

10th: 76%
12th : 72%
Graduation :66%

Extra curricular activities:
1.Photography- Get 1st prize in my company among 5000 participants.
3.Listening Music

Extra achievements:
1. Get certificate from client(Fortune company) for making a difference in project.
2. Get client's(major US bank) appreciation for optimal solution in the project.
3. Get certificate from NASA in "Send your name to moon" participation.
4. Compelted Sun microsystem course and recieved the certificate.
5. Participated in cultural fest of IIT-Roorkee and recieved a ceritficate.

Leadership achievements:
1. While in school, I with my father setup a medical shop to cater the needs of people in nearby remote areas.The model was such that people need not to be come to city for buying medicines.My father visited frequently in towns and villages on roattion basis and we provides the delivery of medicines on demand.
2. Oraganised a competion in College fest.
3. consistently engage in team work by discussing with peers and provide the feedback by suggesting optimal situation.

Career goal: I want to expand the model which i setup of shop in my place. I have IT experience as well as corporate experience. I want to take managerial experience and to built network , so wants to join b school for the same to get insights for the same.

Please guide me about where i stand among the applications and how to proceed.

I wasn’t entirely clear about your goals – it sounds like an entrepreneurial venture that you are building on – if so, it’s interesting and should be well articulated in your essays.

From the info provided I’d consider Insead and ISB to be basically out of reach in practical terms. NUS and NTU would be reasonable reaches, and HEC a pretty high but still possibly reasonable reach. Most likely Melbourne would be on-par. The MIS programs look like great options for you but I'd have to go and research their latest stats, so I can't comment on those.
