Hi,

I would appreciate evaluating the below profile for ISB, NUS and HEC, considering there is no time for me to re-take gmat:

GMAT - 680 (49, 33)

Indian/F/23
CBSE 10th = 84%
CBSE 12th = 79%
B.tech (in Computer Sci.) = 8.01/10

Work Experience - By Mar’13, I will have 2yrs of experience.
5months : Trainee + Intern, Infosys Ltd., Mysore, India
3months : Web Programmer, Bulbous Cell Media, Tokyo, Japan
12months : Program Analyst, STS Forum (NGO), Tokyo, Japan -> NON-IT; This ngo host high-level conferences for luminaries from corporate, political and scientific communities. I along with my event team collaborate closely with them. I have also trained 2 people in our team.

Extra-curricular -
Dancing, Track-sports (State level), Swimming etc.

Best,
Vinc

Your WE will be below average and your GMAT score, while likely within the 80% range will not attract attention (either good or bad). A 680 is a great score, and is one that can get you in, but your application will need to really grab and hold their attention, with a well articulated vision for your post MBA career, one that hopefully ties into and leverages your past achievements. You should focus on how only 2 years of WE will allow you to contribute meaningfully to your classmates who have been around the block a couple of extra laps. If you are able to speak to these issues, you should be able to get some attention from your target schools.
