• 5 years work experience in trading derivatives (UK short term interest rates) for a global prop trading firm
• Current designation – Senior Associate, 3 promotions, 1 year of managing a team of 7.
2) GMAT
• 680 (Q -48 , V-35 ).
3) College info
• Major in economics & statistics (Final year – 72%, Second year – 78%, First Year – 67%) from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, India. Year of graduation 2008.
4) Significant college and post-college extra-curricular activities or community service, especially leadership experience.
• Head, marketing department, college cultural festival, handling all corporate communications for the fest.
• Lead a team of 50 people.
• Represented the college in Inter College Cricket tournament.
• Taught less privileged children for 6 months.
5) Important certifications
• Pursuing CFA. Cleared 2 levels of the CFA program, candidate for the level 3 exam.
6) Target programs
• Columbia, Booth, NYU, Kellogg, INSEAD, ISB.
7) Plan to apply
• R1 2013-14.
8) Post-MBA goal
• Investment Banking

Sorry, but given your undergraduate grades and your GMAT, I think you are aiming too high with all your target programs even thought they are appropriate given your goal. They are all significant stretches. Would you consider
retaking the GMAT?Best,
