Hi,

I am a female, Indian MBA aspirant. I scored a 690 on my GMAT (67 percentile quant; 82 percentile verbal and 48 percentile in IR - 85 percentile total). I have one year of work ex as a software engineer at one of the leading investment banking firms in the world. I completed my undergraduate degree in Computer Science from a reputed college in India, finishing with a GPA of 9.12/10. I am aiming for an MiM in one of the top 20 b-schools. How would you rate my chances of getting into my dream program with this profile? Should I retake the GMAT and improve my score for a better chances?

You have good work experience and an excellent undergraduate score. You must certainly back up your profile with a higher GMAT. Do seriously reconsider taking the test again to be able to easily target the top 20 schools you have on mind. Best!
