1) Brief description of your full-time work experience. What do you do?
---> I am working in IT industry from 3.5 years. I have been in UK for an year now.
--> I am also the director(co-founder) of a startup in photography industry which is currently in very nascent stage and on hold due to some work commitments and so it has not really took off as of yet.

2) Your GMAT.
--> 710.

3) College info: The name of the college, your GPA or grade average, your major, year of graduation. For any graduate degrees, please provide the same info. If you grades are low, please indicate if there were extenuating circumstances.
--> Delhi University India, 3.2, Mechanical Engineering

4) Significant college and post-college extra-curricular activities or community service, especially leadership experience.
--> nothing spectacular. Organized cultural festival in College.

5) Important certifications like CFA, CPA, FSA, or CA.
None.

6) Your target programs.
Kellogg SOM Marketing, NYU EMT, NUS..

7) When you plan to apply? Please specify round and application cycle, for example R1 2013-14 or R3 2012-13.
R1 2013-2014

8) Your post-MBA goal.
Want to be a marketer in Entertainment industry. Though i am not really stringent because it is out of interest and i am ignorant of the courses in Strategy and Consulting.

Positives:
1) International work exp
2) Startup
3) Decent GMAT

Weakness
1) Goal clarity - As I see it for now
2) Low on extra currics / social work
3) I.I.M - Surprisingly this weakness could have been eradicated if you were aiming for Tech MBA programs, such as Kelley, Smith, Tepper, NTU etc.

Further questions:
When you say marketeer in entertainment industry, do you wish for a corporate role or entrepreneurship?

Well you have to be clear and as accurate as possible about your goals, that is one of the first attribute which a B-school admissions committee will notice about an applicant. Being casual about it is very risky.

Are you sure Marketing is your thing ? Would you be able to compete with native speakers there. In US the expectation is higher. If you are from likes of DPS RK Puram etc then I won't worry as these guys speak English at par with natives.
In contrast other MBA jobs like Consulting and Finance involve an analytical component, which is why Indians are able to get these jobs.

I really liked reading your portfolio and believe that you have a lot of distinguishing factors in your background. Although you have some middle of the road qualifications (especially GPA), I would not let this serve as any sort of detriment to your goals. I agree with the list of schools that you have listed, but would add UCLA and USC to your list given your entertainment career goals.
