Hello,

What are my chances at Wharton, HBS, Columbia (ED), NYU, Booth, LBS, MIT.

GPA 3.97 Finance Undergrad at a top 30 (finance). Graduated undergrad in 2 years with honors.
GMAT 670 (46Q 37V) I am weak in verbal.

Dual citizenship. Lebanese and US.
I speak Arabic and English. First gen in America.

Management Consultant at a top 4 firm. Top tier reviews. Very strong letters of recommendation.

MBA Objective: To pivot to a restructuring role so that I can understand how businesses fail from a financial perspective. In my current role I understand how businesses fail from an operational perspective. I would like to tie these 2 skills together to use in distressed investing/PE in the future.

Thank you for your help.

I think that you have a good chance with this profile to crack the top schools you mentioned. The lower GMAT could be an issue, can you try and re-give the exam ?

I’ve taken the gmat 3 times. First time 660 (Q46 V35) second time 670 (Q46 V37) and 3rd time today (600Q45 V28) I am not sure what happened to me today. I signed up for another one in 2 weeks so I can make the round 1 deadlines. So tired of studying 24/7 and not seeing great results, would rather spend time on other parts of application

Hey sorry to hear about your bad test day. I would suggest you order your ESR for a better analysis of where you went wrong.

Sorry to hear about the GMAT. I think you still have a shot at these schools given how strong every other aspect of your application is. Schools also tend to care more about quant than verbal so it's good that it's your verbal score that's weak. At this point I'd stop worrying about the GMAT & just focus on making the other parts of your app as strong as possible!

Thank you! I have decided to put all my effort into my CBS application. I think it has the best fit for my goals. I’m also retaking the gmat again at the end of the week. We’ll see what happens

Hi I just took the executive assessment since Columbia accepts it for their full time mba program.

There is no published stats yet for Columbia on executive assessment.

I got a 160

18 IR 10 VR and 12 Quant. Is this good?
