Hello,
There isn’t a formula for Stanford, once you pass the “qualifications,” because it depends so much on the details of your experience and the sensibility and “voice” you present in your application. Largely the same for other top programs.
To comment first on the basic qualifying points: the GMAT is OK but not great for Stanford; if you can raise it with reasonable effort, I suggest doing that. It's fine for other top programs. Congrats on an outstanding undergrad record – even if it’s not at a top-tier program, your efforts and achievements will be noted and appreciated by the adcom. This record shows you clearly are a person who makes excellent use of available resources. As for work experience, I can't tell yet if it's sufficiently qualifying; it will be if you can show a track record of outstanding accomplishment and impact for the role and the time frame; and/or if you draw meaningful insights about it. Not mentioned are
your goals, which are a key element of a Stanford application and most other MBA apps.
You don’t need traditional volunteering and extracurriculars – but you do need to show that you are a passionate contributor to your world in some way.
Whether to apply for this cycle R3 or next cycle depends on how you would answer some of the above points/questions.
To summarize, to improve your profile: continue to pursue leadership and impact (formal and/or informal) at work and outside work; continue to develop and envision and refine your goals; possibly re-do the GMAT if you can raise it; and learn as much as you can about the program (and review the bios of students to see how you’d fit in and contribute among them).
