Hey,
I'm no admissions consultant, but you sure have a unique profile with good numbers. I see all of that working in your favor!!!

Hi YesWeCan (love the positive energy!),

I like to break profile evaluations into three aspects:

Academically, you have nothing to worry about. You are topping off a strong undergraduate performance with great GMAT and TOEFL scores. The medicine background works in your favor as well, as does the Master's degree.

For extra-curricular activities, you appear to have been quite active as well. Your activities are varied and unique, and you have excellent metrics to measure your success.

Your professional work experience could be a weakness. You haven't provided details on your plans as a non-profit internet entrepreneur, but obviously, you wouldn't need to convince someone to overlook your lack of experience as you would have to at a hedge fund. Although specific hedge funds would look at your related experience favorably, they would need more than that. Getting a position at a hedge fund is challenging, as they are mostly small and hence very selective. If you are really keen, I would try to get experience (full-time, part-time or pro bono) that relates to the quant-heavy analysis that a new hire at a hedge fund would be expected to do.

In summary, your outstanding academic and extracurricular activities, coupled with strong essays that showcase your learnings, would make a good case for admission into top business schools. However, you may find the lack of related experience challenging to get a job at a hedge fund after your MBA.
