Unfortunately, it's going to be very tough to get into a good MBA program if you are currently not working & if you've had such a sizable work gap. Based on your post I think you are saying you have not working at all since you graduated in 2016? If that's incorrect let me know. Business generally want applicants with 3-5 years of work experience & anything less than that will severely hurt your chances. Work experience allows you to contribute to class discussions & it also gives you the foundation for your post-MBA career goals.
In addition to 3-5 years of strong work experience, you'll also want to be sure to hit and ideally exceed a school's average GMAT score and undergrad GPA. Those metrics can be a guide as you gauge how competitive your profile is for a school. But like I said, unfortunately if you have in fact been unemployed since 2016 it's going to be extremely difficult to get into business school.
That said, not all hope is lost! You could be a perfect fit for a MiM program, which is a business degree tailored for applicants who have little to no (one year or less) work experience but who want to gain a business foundation that will propel their careers. For those programs again you want to hit or ideally exceed the average undergrad GPA & GMAT but lack of work experience will be a non-issue & you can speak to your finance goals & why you need this degree to help you reach them. There are a number of strong MiM programs in Europe, including University of St. Gallen, HEC Paris, IE, ESSEC, and LBS. There are some good options in the US as well, including Ross, UVA, and Kellogg. You could also check out SMU in Singapore as well as NUS/CEMS.
Hopefully that's helpful - I think the MiM programs could be a great option for you!
