Here is my background, I go to Michigan State University. I am 22 years old.

BA Accounting and Economics (double major)
Cum. GPA: 3.55 / 4.00
Acc. GPA: 3.18 / 4.00
Econ. GPA: 3.7 / 4.0

Extracurrics:
Student Investment Assoc. (helped manage 5k)
Helped manage the MBA portfolio (1m chunk for our class)
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance
Student Senate
Tutored finance and economics
Beta Alpha Psi

I am currently pursuing:
MS Accounting (Auditing specialization)
Cum. GPA: 4.00 / 4.00 (so far)

+CPA (plan on becoming)

I took the GMAT just for the graduate school application so I didn’t study much for it and got a 650 (so I’m hoping I can get a 700+ later on, I got 90th percentile verbal and like 60th percentile quant so there is major room for improvement there, I hadn’t studied combinatorics at all and got wasted).

After a couple of years working in public accounting I’d like to pursue an MBA in Finance.

So my questions are:
1) How does this look as of now?
2) What can I do to improve this?
*) Do they look at my MS grades at all?

Thank you very much for your time and effort.

Congrats on being a Spartan -- I'm one too!

I think you're in good shape. Make sure that you have the oportunity to take on leadership challenges. Sometimes it can be difficult to get leadership experiences in CPA like roles. And it will be very important that you are able to position yourself as a leader when you apply.

Yes, they look at MS grades, but not as much as the bachelors.

All the best.
