Hi jwalsh16,
You have a strong candidacy, particularly given the non-profit you are starting.
When I look at all of the clients we have worked with who have been admitted to HBS and other top programs, one of the words that stands out to me is impact. The people that were accepted do not just do their job, they go above and beyond.
There are a lot of factors that will play a role in your candidacy (letters of recommendation, personal essays, leadership experience, etc.), but for HBS in particular, I recommend you look for ways to make your application stand out. Your non-profit is a great start.
If you decide to apply to other top programs, most will want to see at least 2 years of work experience.
I hope this was of help.
Cheers,
Conrad and the
Stacy Blackman Team
