Hi
Uv1467, thanks for sharing your profile, which is not a very traditional one for MBA applicants! It sounds like you've had an impressive career, and you will surely stand out from other applicants from India.
You do have two key challenges though -- first is that you're older than most MBA students. Schools may worry that the jobs they can offer you may not be on par with where you're at in your career, and they also want to make sure they are gathering a cohort of students who are at similar career stages and can learn from each other.
Second challenge is being someone who's making a major career switch and thus showing 100% clarity around why you need an MBA, why now, and how you are prepared to make this career switch.
With those challenges in mind, I would rethink your post-MBA career goals, as right now your goals could seem too ambitious for the near-term (immediately post MBA). Those sound like longer-term goals to me. I would also consider alternate formats for your MBA, like Executive programs or one-year programs where the average age may be higher.
If you are going to go for the traditional, 2-year MBA, and considering the caliber of programs you have listed, then yes, I would retake your GMAT. Might depend on how strong your bachelors grades were, but still, if you think you're capable of a higher score, then I would definitely give it another try.
Hope that helps!
