Thanks in advance for taking the time to review my profile. I'm planning on applying to Stanford with an focus on entrepreneurship. Specifically I want to know are there any weaknesses I need to address and what Stanford looks for in a candidate applying with a concentration in entrepreneurship.

26 year old male
1/2 White, 1/2 Asian Indian
4 years work experience

School: University of California, San Diego (ranked 14 for CS)
Degree: B.S. Computer Science
GPA: 3.71 (graduated cum laude)
Honors: Tau Beta Pi & Phi Beta Kappa

Graduate School:
School: University of California, San Diego (ranked 14 for CS)
Degree: M.S. Computer Science with dual concentration in Software Engineering and Computer Networking
GPA: 4.0

760 (48Q/47V/6.0AWA)

Extra Curriculars:
Did community service with Tau Beta Pi in college.
Team Leader for Feeding America for 1 year post-college
VP of Education for Toastmasters club post-college

Outside of work:
Tried (unsuccessfully) with a friend to bootstrap a website over the course of 3 months. Came up with a business plan, invested in advertising, and had ~20,000 visitors per month.

Work Experience:
1.5 years at government defense contractor where I didn't do anything interesting.
1.5 years at prominent mobile startup with an engineering team of ~20 employees. I've lead 3 teams there managing between 1-7 employees. Projects included user acquisition & engagement, redesign of our app, and exploring improvements for the technology behind our core competitive advantage.

I don't see the kind of Work experience that is going to impress the Stanford adcom. With only 3 years and half of that by your own admission "not very interesting," you will be challenged to cast a compelling story about how your background has ideally prepared you to join the Stanford elite of entrepreneur alumni. This will likely be your weak point. How you can overcome this is to couch your expereince in a purposeful light which sounds intentional and strategic in preparing you for your future vision. Make sure you have a clear idea of where and how you want to make an impact in the world of innovation and then convince them you have the right stuff to get there. Entrepreneurs often achieve their greatest accomplishments without an MBA at all, so make sure you present yourself as someone who will leverage what you already posess , not rely on the MBA to get you somewhere that is not in your makeup without the Stanford credential.
