No I didn't submit yet. Still need to write my GMAT. I hope to have the application and complete and sent by mid December. You?

Have you gone to any of the information sessions?

I am sure it will take at least 6+ weeks to hear back. What did you score?

To correct I just said ,I submitted my app on 10/7 and I got 720 on the GMAT. The only thing is that I only have two-year working experience. I might get rejected for that reason. :(

How about you ?

That's a good score. I am hoping to hit in that range at least. My only worry is my low GPA, but not sure if criteria is different for the weekend program. I have 6 years of experience. I haven't been to an info session yet, but do have one scheduled for Nov 7.

We can't be strong in all areas. What matters is that we will try our best . Did you start reviewing GMAT ? I have some good study material.

I might need some help on improving my interview skills . Maybe you can help me since you have worked for 6 years ?

I am still studying for it. I am planning to write it in a month. As far as help with the interview, I'd be happy to help.

Congratulations!!!

I just took my GMAT this morning. Ended up with a 650 (q45 v36). Verbal kicked my butt, but I was more disappointed with my quant score.

I can't decide if I should retake or not. Stats for 2013 PT are 80% 580-720 with an average of 650.

Chance of admission with a 650???

Actually I took GMAT three times in order to get a 720.

I think 650 is within the score range for the PT MBA student.

I have only two years working experience that's why I had to get a high score on GMAT to offset my disadvantage.

I honestly don't think 650 is a bad score considering you were taking it the first time .

Focus on Essay and recommendations !!

Hi guys,

Congratulations for the admits! I am considering a last minute decision to join and was wondering if you have any insight into the program's access to full time clubs or recruiting? Do visiting companies view weekend students equally as full time student since many weekend students already have jobs?

Also, if you can share with me your reasons for applying and joining the program...it will really help other prospective applicants like me. Thanks again!

Re: PT Weekend MBA [#permalink]
I think you have access to all the clubs /recruiting events .

It is really an opportunity if you want to keep your job and gain an MBA degree.

It is less competitive because not many people can commute to Ross while having a full-time job ( student are probably from MI or nearby states and a few internationals on working visa) .

I have concern about whether recruiters will look at Weekend MBA students differently as well, but as the end of the day , I choose not to worry because people who are competent will always be no matter which program / school /country they are from .

Hope it helps !
