IMO 'A'

Between 'A' and 'B'

it has done looks incorrect as the value of dollar doesn't increase or decrease by itself...

For me, logically A. I chose C before, but the "which" makes it wrong.

B is it. We are comparing the actions of the dollar the actions of the dollar with its previous actions hence we need to use "AS" instead of "LIKE". We also need to use "Done" which is the past tense for "DO".

I know that the correct answer is OA B because it came in my test, but I don't know why

+1 B

The value of the dollar is DOING something: increasing.
We are talking about an action.

I will chose B because I don't feel comfortable with use of 'has been' after infinitive 'to increase'. If just sounds a little awkward. If the question stem were 'will continue increasing', then perhaps 'has been' would have been correct. What's the OA ?

For a moment, let us think of the parallelism employed in the text. The first part - The value of the dollar in international markets ‘will continue to increase’ is in active voice, while the – second part - it has been – is in passive voice. Do you see the disharmony? Therefore B.

I am still tilting towards A.

Dollar has not increased its value, rather its value has increased. Hence done does not look right to me.
