I’ll just share this image thats already in my desktop here for you to decide and gauge what works for you. Do note that many factors comes into play for your target score and emailing the University helps better than asking people generally.
But with regards to how many errors can be made. I think thats also subjective and I havent dive into it yet but from my understanding, there’s already some level of understanding in GMAT Club to help gauge.

But Bunuel, if you dont mind me asking, is there a way to solve this without working backwards? Asking solely cause Im still working on my Algebraic skills.

Can anyone explain this please!
Let the positive integer x= 6b and positive integer y= 6c ( since the tens digit of both x and y are 6) .
Now they have asked probable tens digit of 2x+2y = 2( x+y ). You can try it yourself, take x=60 and y= 60, 2(60+60)= 240: So here tens digit is 4. From 60-69 you can try all the numbers for x and y , most probably you will get 4,5,6 and 7. Hence IMO, the answer is 4.

I hope you already knew the difference between tens and tenths digit. Some people may be unaware.
