Yep, it would be the same, no?

Now, in your mind’s eye, imagine that you combine the entire data sets for both A and B. How would you then order all the data points? How many data points would there be in the 1 - 10 bar?

Yep!

Now, how do you find the median? Can you figure it out now?

Is it 30 x 2 + 15 = 75?

since that’s the middle values?

Sorry, I meant 15 x 2 + 15 = 45.

Is that how you get the median?

(I know.) Sorry if I’m being too condending. I just don’t want to give you the answer.

How do you get the median now?

For example, what would the median of chart A have been (without combining the data)? How do you find the median?

Is the median 20 - 30 since that’s the middle bar?

Alright, I’m not sure if you’re still there. I have to go now. I’ll just tell you how to do it.

Let’s say we deal with students instead..
By adding all numbers in the vertical axis, we have 100% then 100 students..

The median is defined as the middle number in the set.. as 100 is pair it has to be the sum of the score of the (50th and 51 )students /2

We see on the chart that
The 45 first students score between 0 and 10
25 seconds between 10 and 20

So the 50 and 51st students correct lies between 10 and 20

You need to add all the data points. From 1 - 10, it’s 95. Then 60, 45, 45, and 55. Then you try to "balance" out the numbers on both sides. If you add the 3 right-most numbers, it’s 145. The 2 left-most is 155. So, the median will be located in the second bar, or 10 - 20.

Total number of a divisor of a number x= a^n*b^m = ( n+1) *( m+1) given a and b are both prime

Does this account for negative divisors as well?

Yes since 35 has 5 and 7 and 70 also has 5 and 7 as multiples

C

Suppose the number is 35, now 35 is divisible by 7 and 35 is divisible by 5.

But if we choose 70 as the factory here, 35 is not divisible by 70
