yeah probably because you log-out every time you are done with GC. But I never log out from stuff since I am the only person that uses my work/home laptops because only I know the password to log on to the computer.

I didn't even realize that this feature existed!

I have stopped using my work computer all together (for the betterment of my business, I suppose), because I thought my work computer just couldn't log-on for some reason. I second the idea of removing this feature... if possible.

Other than that, thanks for making this place so friendly! Much better atmosphere than that other forum... ;)

I have the same problem that Darden mentioned. When I log in at work, i lose all the formating and see a text style without any "graphics" or color. Kind of annoying but I have to delete forum cookies/clear cookies from my browser and then it works. Not a HUGE deal but prefer not to go through the process every other day.

I'd like to know when a post was last updated. For instance, in the 2008 Profiles w/ Admit/Dings Results - NO DISCUSSION ! 103-t53748 postings, I have no idea when somebody updates their results. The only notification I have is when a new post is written or if I scroll through page after page to find out when a posting was last edited. It may only make sense for a couple of topics, in particular the one mentioned above, but it is a serious pet peeve of mine :)

Cheers,
RG

The PM system: Honestly, this seems pretty buggy. There were a couple of times when I sent PMs and they stayed in my out-box for almost a day. I think even todoornot faced the same issue with PMs awhile ago.

The PMs stay in your outbox because the member you sent it to you has not read them yet.

Think of it as a return receipt - if a PM is not in your outbox, it has at least been opened, if not read.

thanks for the feedback. I am not sure what the problem is with the security feature - I will have to check with tino.

Any other ideas for improvement?

I'd like to comment on Rhyme's continued presence. It's getting old. Doesn't this guy have a life of his own anyway? I recommend you "buy him off" with a huge check that just happens to equate to two years tuition at the GSB.

Maybe I'm just a goober who can't figure out how to do it, but it would be cool if we could see the source posts for our kudos in our CP (some sort of summary or page with links to the kudoed posts). That way we know what types of posts are helpful to and appreciated by other forumites.

Just a remark about the Kudos system: I think it's a great feature, and good posts should be recompensated.

However, I fear that not everybody has the same standards when it comes down to distributing Kudos. Could we not allow only certain people to distrbute Kudos?

Just a suggestion, nothing critcal or super important obviously.

Otherwise, keep up the good job! Without this site I would have never been able to access to the interview round of the schools I'm applying for.
