Just got accepted to EMBA Summer 2010 for at a top 25 school (will reveal name in a later post). I have not applied anywhere else. They have given me ten days to accept the offer.

Now Question -

If I accept the offer does that mean I am bound to attend there - what I mean is, am I then contractually prevented from applying and attending elsewhere? Is this how it typically works when you accept admission offer?

No, you just loose the fee you pay to confirm your acceptance.

Its in poor taste to accept without an intention of going, but technically there's really nothing stopping you from doing so (other than the deposit)
