I took the gmat prep test last night and got 680. The math score in () was 49 but i got like 9 wrong.... I read in another thread that it will be very hard to raise math scores at a certain point so should I take more math tests and get an "average" score then if it is pretty high i should go exclusively verbal and try to get that as high as possible? My test is 2/11 so i have 3 weeks or so.. thanks!

What was your verbal score? your quant score is pretty good, but I would definitely put more effort on the verbal part to get a balanced score. In addition the verbal part weighs more in the global score.

oh i didnt know the verbal score weighed more. It was 34 or something. But i think i got lucky on some questions though... I will take more tests here and go through the 1012 questions to get better i guess.

That the verbal score weights more is a personal opinion based on the splits I've seen. I've seen guys scored 750+ with q42 or q45 less than 80 percentile.
