Can one of the recommendation letters be from a current co-worker? Schools usually mention that letters be from employers, supervisors or others who are able to comment on your professional performance and potential.

I will be getting one rec letter from my current supervisor but for the other one i am a little confused. Is it better to get the second letter from another supervisor or a senior co-worker?

Thanks.
