Yea, I mean, if a 3.0 is top 5%, theyll notice on the application. If it worries you, just mention it - "Although my overall GPA is a 3.0, I'd like to highlight that this is nonetheless in the top 5% of my class."

Thanks a lot Rhyme and Wilget.

Though we don't have a ranking system but unofficially I am 4th in the class.

That's a good idea to mention that I was in the top 3-5% in the class

well mention top 3, or top 5. I dont know if they like top 3-5%
just an idea.. maybe rhyme has some tip on that. I would mention 4th in the class.. that sounds more classy. like 4th rank out of 100

Well we didnot have 100 students but it sure was one hell of competetion between the students.
