Randall: Many of the productions of my plays by amateur theater groups are poorly done, and such interpretations do not provide a true measure of my skills as a dramatist.

Which one of the following can be properly inferred from Randall’s statement?

(A) Some amateur theater groups’ productions of Randall’s plays provide a true measure of his skills as a dramatist.
(B) All amateur theater group productions of Randall’s plays that are not poorly done provide a true measure of his skills as a dramatist.
(C) All of the productions of Randall’s plays by amateur theater groups that do not provide a true measure of his skills as a dramatist are poorly done.
(D) If a production of a dramatist’s play is well done, then it provides a true measure of his or her skills as a dramatist.
(E) At least some amateur theatrical groups’ productions of Randall’s plays fail to provide a true measure of his skills as a dramatist.

For inference, we need to make sure that sentence will be correct with given details -
(A) Original sentence doesn't mention about amateur group able to do so well that it can provide a true measure of Randalls' skills.
(B) Even if amateur groups do their best, need not be a true measure of Randalls' skills.
(C) Not necessarily, similar to choice B
(D) Too broad generalization, talking about Randalls' skills only. Choice has other flaws as well.
(E) Correct - Ametuer groups which are poorly done, don't provide a true measure of Randalls' skills so at least some.

Randall: Many of the productions of my plays by amateur theater groups are poorly done, and such interpretations do not provide a true measure of my skills as a dramatist.

Boil It Down - Many Production of Randall's plays are done poorly and they do not provide true measure of his skills as dramatist.

In inference question we must be 100% sure of the answer choice.

(A) Some amateur theater groups’ productions of Randall’s plays provide a true measure of his skills as a dramatist. - May be true. Cannot say for 100%.
(B) All amateur theater group productions of Randall’s plays that are not poorly done provide a true measure of his skills as a dramatist. - Again, May/May not be true. Cannot say for 100%.
(C) All of the productions of Randall’s plays by amateur theater groups that do not provide a true measure of his skills as a dramatist are poorly done. This flips the reasoning. Not 100% true.
(D) If a production of a dramatist’s play is well done, then it provides a true measure of his or her skills as a dramatist. - May be true. Cannot say for 100%.
(E) At least some amateur theatrical groups’ productions of Randall’s plays fail to provide a true measure of his skills as a dramatist. - Perfect. Since the prompt says many production, it means definitely some.
