OMG that was a nailbiter 🙉
Thank you for organizing (and to all the competitors) for such a fun/intense competition! I was lazy on the first day and only posted for one RC, and then had to hustle hard for the next two weeks because no one else slacked for even a single day 🙇🏻‍♀️

I'm completely exhausted and have developed a deep appreciation for all the verbal debriefs on the forum - it takes forever!

First of all let me thank you all for participating in this competition.

We have announced the winners officially. I would love to say that there is NO LOSER here at all, any person who stepped in for the knowledge is the WINNER. So all those participated are winners. I understand that the motive behind participating in the event was not just to win prize but sharpen your RC skills and to get experience of solving RC. I hope this event will help you in your RC preparation. Lately I have noticed that some participant, being aware they might not be in the top 5 at the end of competition, have left early. I think I have missed one trick here by updating the points table daily, I might change this routine next year’s edition and will show the participant's standings on the last day of the event. Let me know what you suggest me on this stance.

Let me appreciate Vie3nrose Tahamohsin Deepakjhamb Sumi1010 and Neha2404 the consistency with which you guys went throughout the competition, I hope it has helped you making your stamina for this dry section of the GMAT. Below is the summary of the Prizes. Please feel free to PM me when you want to get the GC tests access.

I have one request to all of you, Please go to the main thread and remove all of your wrong answer's explanations and also format your explanations properly. A lot of members will visit these questions and read your explanations later on, to avoid any confusion I think it is good to remove the wrong ones. You can take your time and can do this in the next few days. You have put in a lot of time writing these explanations so they deserve respect (In form of Kudos) and the members will definitely gave kudos when they read the right explanation.

I have updated the sources from which I have taken all these questions, I have also updated the topics names according to our SOPs. All OEs are also duly updated. If someone finds any discrepancy please don’t hesitate to PM me and report.

What should we do next?

For your information: Onward from today both the RC and IR butler will be continued and you all are warmly welcome to post your explanations/thoughts or any query. New questions will be posted 5 times/week and OAs will be hidden for 2 days, so anyone can solve those questions, post an explanation and earn Kudos! :blushing:

Reading your explanations has been quite worthwhile.

Thanks Sajjad1994 for your untiring effort on conducting RC and IR Butler competitions.
I'd unhesitantly admit that I don't feel very comfortable in comprehending the intricate passages,particularly when timer is on.
Of the three sections of verbal, RC has been a matter of pain to me often.
IMO getting right answers is sheer luck until one has a concrete and logical explanation. Sometimes even official explanations shirk this responsibility and take the detour to correct answer. The competitions like this one are quite helpful .We read other's explanations not to pick the right answer,but to tune the thought process in an indigenous way.Thanks!

I remember 1st day of competition :That day I was on last position (13th rank , Got 1 point ).
Then I felt that I need to work hard , Finally got 3 positions

Sajjad1994 - Thanks once again. RC is my weakest link and the competition helped me improve my understanding.

Congratulations to every participant, as we all are one step ahead in our preparation.

My personal takeaway(s):
I found the competition very intense and close. I read great explanations to a correct answer, which helped me broaden my horizon. The enthusiasm with which I answered each question was same as if I were taking the GMAT RC. Getting appreciation/critique from an expert, Sajjad1994, keeps up the preparation morale high. Last but not the least the competition helped me maintain my consistency, time management.

Although we might have been here for the prize, but we should not forget that the exam will also reward us.

So, lets keep the streak going and help learning each other.
Lets meet in the field tomorrow @8AM. ;)
