I would say the RC in real GMAT is comparable to OG RC passages. However, since I always seem to have test anxiety, I usually cannot concentrate as much as I could when I deal with practice exam or OG questions. In my case, some easier question would seem hard to me during the test day.

The OGs are supposed to be comparable to the real GMAT. So, I'd say the difficulty level would be about the same.

I can't say anything about the difficulty of the RC questions in the real GMAT, relative to those of the OG.

But I read in MGMAT's CR & RC guide, that RC passages in the real GMAT are generally longer than those of the OG (& GMATprep). Whereas OG/GMATprep's long passages are those with a length of greater than 35 lines, the real GMAT's long passage usually has a length greater than 50 lines.

So in the real GMAT, RC passages will most likely take more time and include more details relative to OG or GMATprep.

I scored around V24 zone both the time(along with Q48/47)
I confirm that 1 out of 4 will be of length 65 lines(it may be experimental also)
Only GMAC knows better

other 3 RCs were of 25-35 lines
Others like bb,hemant and 700+ clubbers pls confirm

I feel ppl who are getting V40 and above may face LSAT level toughness
time mgmt is a big issue

hope it helps

Something like that. Always four passaes, one of which is longer than the other three. Really bad part is the fact that the longest passage is not always the toughest. I experienced some really ridiculously hard readings in 35-40 lines on real exams.

RCs from OG is on par with those on real exams. Just take couple of GMAT Preps and you will know what you can expect on the real exam when it comes to RC.

agreed with pathfinder

Difficulty level at par with GPrep RCs/OG 12

There could be more inference Qs(depending on luck) and few direct Qs
thanks to background, I find the( tough )Science passages easiest

I got a long but easy RC (70 lines may be) at the middle(Q no 18-22) and I lost momentum

it did effect my remaining CR/SC sections

so guys, to get back the momentum, join me with one RC /day campaign

I agree. I thought the longer ones were easier, on the real GMAT. I was dumbstruck on the short ones - they were tough.

IMO, I dont think RC would have experimental questions. Think about it, RC/CR's are considered tougher than SC. GMAC keeps doing their research, only to find that people spend most of their time on SC, so why would they have experimental questions in RC. I'd say, SC has the most experimental questions, followed by CR (in the Verbal section). RC - nil or may be 1 or 2 (max).
