I'm potentially interested in real estate and was wondering what schools have the best reputations for real estate programs? It seems hard to find any data online, etc.
Well, it depends on your plans ... are you interested in development or investment?
Wharton has a great real estate concentration. I'm currently at Cornell and they have a dual degree in real estate. USC also has a Masters Degree in Real Estate Development program that I think can be done with the MBA program. Columbia too.
My advice would be to get into the best MBA program you can whether they have a real estate program or not. If you're interested in real estate you shouldn't really have too hard of a time finding an internship from any top MBA program.
