Hi Guys,

I was researching about whether i require to report the TOEFL scores as well. I am from India and have completed all my education through English medium schools. Most of the programs i am planning to apply mention that i dont need to sit for the TOEFL. However, while discussing with few of my friends who are applying for an MS program(via GRE) told me that even though they mention so, you should appear for the test and report your scores since it 'CAN' better your chances of being accepted.

So i am in a confused state now. Should i really sit for the TOEFL only to improve my chances of getting admitted?

Please guide me soon as i am appearing for my CFA Level 2 exams in June & so will have to plan my schedule accordingly.

Update: I have studied Computer Engineering from Mumbai University. The course is offered only in English, though the University offers courses in other regional languages too.

Hi:
Almost all major B-schools in the US require Indian students to submit the TOEFL score since Indians are considered non-native English speakers.
Regards,
Amrith
