why is C the right answer? can someone explain?

C is the right answer because it uses correct idiom "allegry to"
'such as to milk' clearly gives an example of an allergy.

(A) to identify food allergies, such as [Wrong, Milk can not be an allergy, however we can have allergy to Milk]
(B) to identify food allergies, like [Wrong, same as above]
(C) to identify food allergies, such as to [Correct]
(D) for identifying food allergies, like that of ['Allergy of' is an incorrect idiom]
(E) for identifying food allergies, such as for ['Allergy for' is an incorrect idiom]
