If your GMAT score had been lower, with a lower percentile in the Verbal section, I might have been more concerned. Although a lower AWA score does slightly weaken the GMAT score, I don't believe it's enough to warrant taking the test again. Basically, a lower AWA score is going to raise questions about your communication abilities.
Hence, in your case, it does become more imperative to prove to the AdCom that you have strong communications skills. Ways of doing that include superior essays, relevant achievements in your resume and examples from your recommenders in their letters.
